Josephine Johnston is a Research Scholar and the Director of Research at the Hastings Center. She holds a master’s degree in bioethics and health law from the University of Otago in New Zealand. Her current projects address the ethical implications of new kinds of prenatal genetic tests, gene editing technologies, and the potential use of genetic sequencing in newborns.
